What is the bench fee
The bench fee is a down payment that covers the time and resources used in attempting any given repair. While it is generally rare that a repair cannot be successfully conducted, in some cases it does happen and this is the most you will be out in that case — you will not be charged extra for the additional work which is always done on problematic repairs.
how long will the repair take
Each repair is unique which makes a time line difficult to establish. Less complex repairs can usually be fast tracked and repaired in under 7 days. More complex repairs, rare devices, or hard to obtain parts can add significant time. Once a device is evaluated you will be contacted with an approximate time line.
Why is the repair taking so long
We do our absolute best with every repair. They are not rushed just to get the system out more quickly — they are done professionally, to incredibly exacting standards. Additionally, while some repairs are straightforward, they still take time to actually complete. Other repair situations are quite non-standard, and require special research, processes, or the acquisition of uncommon or scarce components.
Do we offer walk in services
Unfortunately no, we are a small home based business at this time. We only offer repair services by appointment.
What are the repair guarantees
Since repairs can be very diverse, the repair guarantee is unique to each. For straight forward repairs such as a component replacement, there is a 90 day guarantee on the component replaced. For complex repairs or repairs to systems prone to failure the guarantee will be evaluated and communicated prior to performing any work.
